We also depend on donations.  While BAHFH makes every effort to obtain grants for land purchase and to get building materials donated or sold to us at cost – or at least below-market cost – by local suppliers, we always have significant expenses for each home, especially with our new commitment to Net Zero Energy Homes.

Brattleboro Area Habitat for Humanity (BAHFH) has only very minimal paid staff.  We are virtually all volunteer.  Your tax-deductible contribution will go directly into the house – an affordable house with an affordable mortgage for a local, low-income family that has helped to build it.
